Air Products’ Halia® aeration systems can prevent the formation of reduced sulfur compounds in sewer systems. The Halia system can directly inject oxygen into the wastewater header or force sewer mains and oxidize the sulfur compounds into harmless sulfates which eliminate the odor, corrosion and toxicity issues associated with the presence of H2S. This offering is not available in all regions; please check with your local office.

Oxygen	Oxygen is a colorless gas which constitutes approximately 21 percent of the volume of air. It can be stored and shipped as either a gas or a cryogenic liquid with a boiling point of -297.3°F (-183°C). Oxygen is used for oxidation in wastewater treatment processes. For wastewater treatment applications, we supply oxygen in gas or liquid form which we can either deliver to your site or produce on your site. Halia® venturi aeration system	The Halia venturi aeration system consists of oxygen supply — either as liquid oxygen or onsite generation — plus oxygen injection and mixing equipment. This system achieves a high oxygen transfer efficiency with low operating costs. It is flexible across various basin designs or sizes and can be supplied as raft or immersed models.
